A little about the leaders behind this great Company!

Dan Sweetwood - CEO/PRESIDENT

As Allied PhotoChemical’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Dan Sweetwood is responsible for growing Allieds leadership position in the UV coatings marketplace. Sweetwood joined Allied in 2005. Since that time he has held various positions including Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Sales.

He has served on the Board of Directors since 2008. He offers a strong background of technical, operational and financial experience in the manufacturing marketplace.

Prior to joining Allied PhotoChemical, Sweetwood, held several key positions at Rockwell Automation with a primary focus in the automotive market and at Silicon Graphics focusing on high performance computing. Sweetwood’s most recent position included responsibility for channel management between Rockwell Automation and McNaughton-McKay Electric.

Sweetwood has a Bachelors of Science Degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Masters of Finance from Walsh College in Troy, Michigan.


As Allied PhotoChemical’s Vice President of Technology, Aaron is responsible for Allieds entire technology portfolio and future developments.

Krohn initially started with Allied as a Co-op from Kettering University in 2002. He joined Allied full time in 2006 and has previously held a number of positions including Director of Applications & Development. Prior to joining Allied, Krohn served in a key manufacturing position at TI Automotive.

Krohn has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering / Minor in Business Management from Kettering University and a Masters in Engineering from Kettering University in Flint, Michigan.


As Allied PhotoChemical’s Director of Operations, Frank Boji is responsible for all operations, including manufacturing, inventory, and purchasing at Allied’s main manufacturing facility.

Boji initially started with Allied in 2007, and worked extensively in Application Development and Application Engineering. Boji was instrumental is securing ISO 9001 certification for Allied in 2008.

Boji has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.


As Allied PhotoChemical’s Vice President of Sales, Bob Linders is responsible for support, maintenance, and growth of Allied’s current portfolio of accounts as well as expansion into new market areas. Linders joined Allied Q1 of 2016.

Prior to joining Allied Linders had a 35 year career developing and selling coatings in the metal packaging industry followed by 2 years selling UV curable raw materials for a variety of applications. His metal packaging career, starting with Desoto, took him to Dexter Midland, PreFinished Metals, Reliance Universal, Akzo Nobel, and Watson Standard with many company changes occurring through acquisition. His career evolved from a laboratory position (development and management; water base and UV curable products) to field technical support and eventually sales and sales management. Most recently he was a key account and sales manager for IGM Resins.

Linders has a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Chemistry and Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign.
